We have been friends for over a decade, bonding over the joys and challenges of raising our families. But Mirasol started from a different kind of shared experience. We realized that finding genuine, compassionate support for a loved one is harder than it should be.

We know that finding the right support can be overwhelming. Here are the answers to the questions we get asked most often.
Who will be supporting me?
Someone you actually like. We don't just look at rosters; we look at personalities. We try our hardest to match you with a support worker who shares your interests and "gets" you. Consistency matters, so we aim to keep your team small and familiar.
What if I don't click with my worker?
Then we change them. No awkward conversations required, and no hard feelings. Your home is your sanctuary, and you have to feel 100% comfortable with the people in it. Just let us know, and we'll find a better fit.
How quickly can we get started?
We move at your pace. If you need support urgently, we can often arrange things within a few days. If you prefer to take your time, meet potential workers, and build a plan slowly, we are happy to do that too.
Can I change my schedule?
Absolutely. Life happens—family visits, appointments change, or maybe you just want a quiet day. We try to be as flexible as possible. We just ask for as much notice as you can give us so we can respect our team's time too.
